About the Platforms team
The Platforms team at LumenRadio consists of dedicated engineers, laying a stable foundation for LumenRadio's product portfolio. The team selects, refines and develops technology into a platform used by our product development teams. Taking on a strategic technical responsibility ranging from hardware to software, the team ensures the future development of our tech stack and products. The Platforms team is responsible for developing our proprietary low-power network stack and embedded OS Mira. We proudly claim that Mira is the world's most reliable and energy-efficient mesh network, made possible by our patented technology for adaptive frequency hopping.
Your future
We are currently seeking an Embedded DevOps Engineer to oversee our test environment, test processes, unit tests, HIL tests, and test beds. You will play a central role, supporting the entire R&D department and influencing our quality and test practices significantly. With our unique products and technologies, there are few ready-made test solutions available. As such, you will be the expert in identifying and developing the best and most suitable solutions.
You will be part of a cross-functional team that includes Embedded Software Developers, Electronics Design Engineers, and a Production Test Engineer, all focusing extensively on quality. In our R&D department, all engineers share responsibility for QA without a dedicated department. This positions you as the frontline leader in QA efforts, collaborating closely with various product development teams to innovate and implement solutions based on your expertise.
Your primary goal will be to increase automation and test coverage. Given the dynamic nature of our products built on Mira Mesh, which features constantly changing configurations, highly efficient testing processes are crucial.

With experience not only in operational testing but also in strategic DevOps development, we expect you to effectively promote your ideas that enhance efficiency.
To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:
- A B.Sc or M.Sc in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with test automation related to the embedded/hardware-related field.
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Scripting experience in Python and/or Bash or similar.
- Familiarity with Embedded systems; advantageous to have knowledge of embedded C, but we’re primarily seeking general understanding.
Preferred qualifications:
- General knowledge of Linux, particularly Ubuntu and Debian.
- Familiarity with various Python test libraries such as Robot and Behave.
- Experience with Gitlab CI.
- Experience with Docker.
